2018 Summer Intern Housing at UTC

UTC Housing and Residence Life (HRL) is happy to work with local businesses to provide housing for your summer interns in an affordable, safe location. UTC is located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, and summer intern housing is walking distance from local attractions. 

HRL provides summer housing to any college student interning or working with local businesses in the Chattanooga area from late May through July. This can be for UTC students or students attending other universities. Summer interns will be housed with fellow summer interns and will have the opportunity to participate in activities for residents throughout the summer.

  1. Complete online application
  2. Invoice will be emailed to you
  3. Mail in Money order, must be received 5 days prior to move in
  4. Receipt will be emailed once Money Order has been received

12-Week Human Resources Compliance Certificate Program

Mitchell Hamline School of Law is offering its 12-week Human Resources Compliance Certificate Program for human resources generalists and compliance specialists. This program offers professionals the opportunity to learn and use a model of compliance designed to meet organizational goals while addressing the professional’s duty of care; ethical, legal, and business decision-making frameworks; and responsibilities as a driver of change in an organization.

Participants will gain an all-encompassing HR view of how to approach risk management and compliance within businesses of all sizes and receive a broad perspective through the employment life cycle to enable them to apply compliance to their work. Our online learning management system is a flexible, interactive portal that offers online discussions, practical exercises, and collaborative activities that can be completed when they fit into participants’ schedules.
